has, after intense discussion, unanimously decided in favor of the design

ON_AIR
by INSTANT - Jörg Stollmann / Dirk Hebel.

INSTANT solves the existing problems of the entrance area of the KW on a high aesthetic and architectonic level. The balcony protruding from the entrance is a special, surprising form of interaction with the street area and is extremely visible. The design's material and structure is innovative and experimental and promises a fascinating connection between high-tech and low-tech. The structure fits organically into the building and, beyond that, offers an interesting experiential space that clearly positions the institution in its character.

The execution of the design is planned for Spring 2005.
